Hampton Inn Miami-Coconut Grove/Coral Gables

For the $300 price of a Monday night in January, it’s about what I’d expect from a Hampton Inn, not a luxury place. The front desk staff were good, the cookies were great, and breakfast was hot and good. The pool was small, and the hot tub was closed off. The room was fine, with plenty of seating and a decent-sized TV, but the bed was very firm and not comfortable for me. The pillows were soft. The shower was surprisingly modern compared with the rest of the room, though the towels were scratchy. The app never delivered a digital key, but the physical keycards worked fine. Given the location and six-floor height, there wasn’t really a view.

The room itself was spotless, and I had no issues with the bathroom. The amenities were pretty minimal, but everything was well kept. Most importantly after a long trip, the beds were so comfortable that I slept really well. Hampton Inn Coconut Grove is also an easy walk from restaurants, shops, and the center of Coconut Grove. A comfortable stay in a convenient spot.

After a veeery long, tiring day, the woman at reception made my night. The huge bed felt like heaven, and there was a microwave and good quality toiletries too. The room was spacious, everything looked neat and brand new, and the little bathroom details were lovely. What a fantastic experience! I'd go back anytime.

Latasha at the front desk really made my trip better. She suggested a few nearby places to eat and visit, and every recommendation was spot on. She was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, and you can tell she takes pride in looking after guests. That kind of service makes all the difference. Thank you, Latasha, it didn't go unnoticed!
