The Pell

Everything was clean and really modern, and I felt I got exactly what I paid for. There’s a nice fireplace in the lobby, a bar, a restaurant, and even a small gym. The staff were great and very polite, and check-in and checkout were quick. It feels unfair when people say everything was great but then leave a four-star review. This hotel is amazing. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back!

Matias at the front desk was a huge help with directions to the mansions and finding our way around the wharf. We loved this boutique hotel. It was very clean, and the new remodel looks great. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch, too. Don’t believe the ratings, the hotel was fully booked. Highly recommend. Book it!

We’re checking out today after seven weeks at The Pell, and I won’t forget how they treated us. A pipe burst in the cold above our apartment and flooded it. Everything we owned, from clothes to electronics, was soaked, and we couldn’t even get back inside to retrieve anything. The maintenance people and firemen were piling things everywhere they could find a dry spot. We arrived at The Pell feeling pretty low, but they changed that quickly. I’ve traveled for work all over the U.S. and through most major cities, and I’ve never stayed anywhere I was treated better. They made me feel like I mattered to them instead of homeless. I’d love to stay here again if I were vacationing in the area. Vacationers, take notice!

For our first visit to Newport, The Pell was a great place to stay. Our room was spacious and modern, with a very nice, clean bathroom. The staff were polite and helpful.
