Myer Motel

I found this place while looking for a last-minute place to sleep during a work trip. It was one of the cheapest around, so I wasn’t expecting the Ritz, but I was surprised by how cozy and quiet it felt when I arrived. The staff were extremely welcoming and nice, and the room was spacious and clean. I’m planning a longer trip with my wife, and I think she’ll love it. Five out of five, and I’ll definitely stay again soon.

We stayed in a double queen bungalow. Each unit is a sweet little place with a porch, chairs, and a small table. They’re clean, well maintained, and feel homey. The photo only shows one queen because I didn’t take any pictures until we were leaving.

The stay was pleasant and quiet, and the cottages are cute, very clean, and have a rustic feel. Having coffee in the room made for a good morning. In the little room at the back of the main building, there’s a microwave and vending machines, though the machines could be stocked better. More snack choices and a few useful items like disposable cutlery, cups, and dishes, ideally compostable and available for purchase, would make the place stand out. It’s a nice little spot just outside Milford.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated, and the price was great. One issue was that the hot water looked very rusty for some reason. They also give you just one tiny piece of soap, so bring your own. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend the place.
