Room 101 could use a clock, either one on the wall or a plug-in one. I can't say whether the other rooms need one. The new check-in process threw me at first, but once settled I really liked the room, location, amenities, and price. I visit the Lancaster area twice a year and will definitely return. I'd recommend this lodge. Thanks.

The rooms are nice, though you can hear through the thin walls and the floors creak. At this price, that wasn't unreasonable. The check-in setup was the bigger problem: everything is remote, and I was stuck waiting outside for an hour. There was an employee on site, but they couldn't check me in. I booked through Chase and never received the text or email link for online check-in. Hope you have better luck.

My father passed away this morning while we were driving to the airport to fly west, and we had a reservation here for tonight. They took the payment and said there was nothing they could do, offering no help with a refund or rescheduling. That was a complete lack of compassion. I hope they face the same treatment someday.

I like the more home-like feel here, and the beds are extremely comfortable even if you're only staying one night. I've been coming and going for work over several months, and they seem able to handle both quick stops and longer stays. For an extended visit there's a laundry area with new machines, so bring pods. At check-in you're given your own four-digit PIN for both the building and your room. I work in Security, and that tells me they take it seriously. Some rooms share bathrooms, but I've never found one unavailable. There are two floors, each with three showers and just as many restrooms. The rooms and restrooms are very clean, and the staff are only a call or text away. Hope this helps.
