Super 8 Monroe

I travel for construction work and need affordable hotels, so this one was a pleasant surprise. The room had a spacious layout, a large bed, and a big TV with a good choice of channels. It was extremely clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely come back for construction jobs in the area.

We had a baby with us, and there wasn’t a rollaway crib. They gave us the extra blankets we asked for so the baby could sleep safely on the floor. I felt great staying in our room: it was immaculate, and I was impressed by the bed, blankets, shower, flooring, tile work, and bathroom. Everything about the room and stay was excellent. Just a heads-up, the fleur-de-lis gate topper picture above the bed looks a little scary in the dark, almost like a skull. The room was great, and I highly recommend it.

The welcome and goodbye from the staff member really made the stay for me. When I returned the key at checkout, he noticed me and asked me to wait while he finished a phone call. Afterward, he asked how things had gone and listened with concern. I told him I had no issues and everything was fine. When I arrived, he greeted me warmly and asked how he could help. I explained that I needed a room, and there was one available. He told me the internet boxes were being replaced, so there’d be no service for another hour or two, and apologized for any inconvenience with watching TV. He also explained breakfast, checkout time, and where to park, then gave me the room key. The room and bathroom were clean. Super 8 on Martin Luther King Jounior in Monroe Louisiana. Great stay!

For a budget hotel, I was really pleased with the Super 8 in Monroe off exit 118a. Everything was neat, clean, and working, with none of the worn-out feel you often get at this price. The bathroom had been remodeled, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were super friendly, breakfast was just what you needed, and even the coffee was good.
