Garden Inn Bed & Breakfast at Bee Rock

The gathering room overlooking Bee Rock was cozy, and breakfast was wonderful. The owners are a delightful couple who clearly enjoy hosting. We came back recently after first visiting about 20 years ago, and not much seemed to have changed. The location is beautiful and the rooms are exceptionally clean. We stayed on the main level and could hear people walking upstairs, so for a really quiet night you may want an upper floor. One surprise was the TVs, which seem unchanged over the years: they’re all 12x12 inches, and the picture quality is only fair at best. The Dyers

Bee Rock makes for spectacular views, and the food was wonderful too. There’s plenty of space to play games, visit, or relax in a cozy room, whether you’re a couple or a group. The place is central to much of the small town and nearby larger cities. Hiking, falls and a Mennonite community with a working sorghum mill are close by. It’s a beautiful, relaxing spot, and I’ll be back. Breakfast was the best!

My husband and I spent our 2nd wedding anniversary at this adorable bed and breakfast, and we’re absolutely planning to make it an annual trip. The views are stunning, and the family running the place is spectacular. It’s also such a good value that we think they could charge way more.

Mirtha and Mike were among the kindest people we’ve met. They made us feel like we were visiting family. We’d been camping for days at a nearby music festival and needed a cozy place to sleep for one night before our 9 hour drive home. The inn exceeded what we expected. Our room was clean and comfortable, the water pressure was perfect, breakfast was delicious, and the views were breathtaking. We enjoyed exploring the trail to the overlook, an easy stroll from the inn, and the small town is worth seeing. We went to the Mexican restaurant, bakery and ice cream soda shop, and loved them all. My only regret is having just one night. We’ll definitely return.
