We left without staying and drove to a hotel in San Jose, an hour away, at 10pm after a long day. The room smelled strongly of urine, the carpet was stained, and the furniture and linens looked painfully dated. When I checked the sheets for bedbugs, I found stains and dust on the surfaces. The online room photos were very misleading, especially for more than $250 a night. We'd booked in a rush during a road trip. The woman at the front desk had been nice when we arrived, and the lobby was cluttered but had a sort of charm. She seemed to be around 85. When we returned in the morning to ask for a refund, her manner changed completely. She said touching the sheets meant housekeeping had to clean the whole room, called me disrespectful for messing it up, and refused to discuss it with me, saying she'd only speak to my boyfriend. I was just trying to check whether the room was clean enough to sleep in. We never got our money back. There were long-term tenants visible in some rooms with their doors open. One room was packed with trash and clutter, and another looked like people might be using drugs. It seemed like a hangout for sex workers and drug dealers. This was a truly traumatizing experience. I hate this place and think it's a health hazard that needs to be shut down asap.

The room had a fireplace and felt more like an apartment, which was pretty cool. It wasn't especially updated or fancy, though. The location was good, just not as good as some others in town. The service was absolutely wonderful: they went out of their way to make a very late check-in work and were really kind about it. Just keep in mind the office closes at 10pm, so there's no 24-hour front desk.

After a long day visiting someone at the hospital, I needed somewhere quiet and cozy, and this worked for me. It's family-owned and operated, with flexible rates and customer service that makes you feel welcome and appreciated. The old, dusty heater still worked well. A fresh coat of paint would help, but I'll definitely come back.

We felt like family here, and the owners made sure we were comfortable without hovering. The rooms have personal touches and extras you don't find just anywhere, plus a real fireplace and very effective heat. It was cozy and private, and we'll be back soon. The location is great, pet friendly, and an easy walk to Del Monte Beach and Lake Estero. Rates are the best, with weekly and monthly extended stay options. They're booked most of the time, so we were lucky to get a room. Our stay was amazing.

The smell was putrid, and there were bug carcasses in the bed. I had to go back and forth with the woman to get a refund. I'm thankful the man refunded my $250.00, so I could find a safer, cleaner area for my family. Staff was nice, but this place felt unsafe for both health and personal safety. A homeless man had his whole car scattered in a parking slot, and there were eviction notices on the windows. It seemed like they let drug addicts run rampant. This place needs to be shut down. Do not stay here.
