Had a great night here. The grounds were well kept and, despite the hotel seeming pretty full, it was fairly quiet. I liked the outdoor spot for smoking and relaxing, and the pool was nice. The rooms were quiet and nice, too. The beds were a bit firm for my taste, but totally fine for one night. I'd recommend it and stay again.

The fireplace in our room could be controlled from across the room and warmed it up nicely. I also liked the eco-friendly setup: leave towels on the floor if you want them changed, and there were large dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and soap instead of little bottles. The microwave was good, and there was a refrigerator, though no freezer. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the location was quiet and convenient. Randy’s sandwich shop, which is excellent and cheap, is practically next door. Parking was free and the WiFi was good. The TV remote worked only within three feet of the TV, so not from the couch. Early check-in costs an extra $25, and they said we couldn't use a lobby bathroom before check-in. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay, and I'd come back.

I've been here twice on trips to Monterey, and the rooms look even better in person than in the online pictures. They're updated, clean, and have comfortable beds, with everything we needed. The outdoor patio is a favorite, with comfy couches and chairs, a table, and nice mood lighting at night. Rates are affordable, and there's a nice pool, too.
