Extended Stay America Suites Montgomery Eastern Blvd

My boyfriend, my dog, and I stayed here for two weeks while waiting for our apartment to be ready. We’re travel therapists and stay in plenty of hotels, and this was one of the best. The staff were kind and helpful, and the room was very clean, including the bathroom. Gnats were an issue, and the floors weren’t clean. I got down on my hands and knees to clean mine, and it still seemed dirty. The carpet also needs a deep clean. Everything else was perfect.

The price was quite low compared with nearby options, and I feel like I got what I paid for. The customer service woman was very nice, and I enjoyed most of our interactions. The location is convenient, though I wouldn’t call the area the safest. The parking lot isn’t monitored, there are signs telling guests to lock their cars and secure valuables, and I overheard that someone’s car had been stolen there. Also, none of the room’s light fixtures worked, though the ceiling lights did. The room smelled like smoke. I tried telling myself it was cleaning chemicals, but the smell was still there after a couple of days.

Jeremy at the front desk is the reason I’m writing this. I was in a large truck, and he went out of his way during check-in to make sure we had suitable parking. He was detailed, efficient, warm, and a pleasure to talk with. Each time I came into the office, he welcomed me and everyone around. He and the staff deserve a raise, and I hope Extended Stay recognizes what a great team player he is. It was a short stay, but a pleasant one. The place is a little dated, though exceptionally clean, which matters most to me. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I had no room issues. Thanks again, Jermey, for taking such pride in the property and helping with everything. I’ll stay here again.

Jeremy made our stay so much better. He was courteous and efficient, smiled as soon as my husband and I entered the lobby, and asked how he could help. He went out of his way to assist us with everything. The room was better than we expected, and I’d recommend staying here. The customer service was phenomenal. I really appreciate Jeremy!
