We felt safe in our room, and there were no bugs or vermin. There are plenty of parking spaces and easy food options nearby, but I didn't feel we got our money's worth. Dog waste all over the front lawn was astonishing, so avoid the grass if you want clean shoes. We reported it to the health department, and I even took video, though this site only accepts photos. At breakfast, the apple juice dispenser didn't seem to contain any apple juice, and the biscuit gravy was between cold and room temperature. I like sausage gravy hot. I wonder whether staff have had food safety training. This was our first Microtel stay, and I can't tell if they're all run this way. Maybe I misunderstood the dog policy, but the place seems poorly managed.
