Super 8 by Wyndham Moss Point

The room was in great shape, and body wash and Shamis were already there. Breakfast was good too, especially the sausage. A+ service all around.

I checked out right after waking up at 7:00 AM covered in itchy spots. I can't say whether it was bed bugs, but after a quick shower I left. The second room was a little better than the first, though it still smelled damp and musty. I only got to sleep around 5:30 AM after arriving at about 4:00 AM, worn out from a 10-hour drive and hoping to rest for a few hours. At first they put me in a room that reeked of cigarettes even though it was listed as non-smoking. The bedding had visible holes that looked like cigarette burns, and the room was dirty and extremely humid. There were stains on the ceiling that looked like mold, more stains on the bathroom walls, and cracks all over the floor. It felt unclean and badly maintained. I paid $70 for the stay and regret spending it on such a poor experience. I know it's a budget motel, but cleanliness and comfort still matter. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and makes improvements. I can't recommend the Super 8 in Moss Point, MS. The service gets a 3 only because Mitch was great, that's all.

The location was really convenient for the Chevron Refinery, and the prices were reasonable. Parking was well lit and felt safe. I traveled alone for work, and everyone from the front desk to management helped me feel comfortable, at home, and safe. My room was quiet for that area and very comfortable. If anything came up, I could tell the front desk and it would get taken care of. Thanks to everyone there. Hope to see you all soon, take care.

We stopped for one night on the drive from FL to TX, and having our dogs with us was no problem since they were pet-friendly. The room's cleanliness was the disappointing part. This won't be one of my top places to stay.
