The manager contacted me after my review and was contrite. She fairly pointed out that I could have given the hotel a chance to fix things while I was there. I didn't ask to move rooms, which I should have done, but I dislike being a problem guest and have a high tolerance for this stuff. Her professional response and wish to address the issues impressed me, and she deserves credit. Your stay might be better if you book, but this was my experience. I stayed in May 2026 and found smoke in the hall each morning despite it being a non-smoking hotel. I complained twice. There was gum stuck by a headboard, blood drops in the shower, and gel toothpaste residue in the sink. No tissues or cups were provided, and the bed and pillows felt lumpy and lousy. Staff were hard to find, on their phones, or unfriendly. The key card was a struggle on the second night: I had to jiggle it for three minutes and try eight times. They gave an unbelievable excuse. I paid $135 a night for what felt like a $50 room. Breakfast was basically nothing, and the coffee tasted like vaguely chocolatey dishwater. The room was pretty quiet, at least. If they're understaffed and not paying salaries, the rate should reflect that.

The bathroom was clean and updated, and the soap and shampoo smelled nice and seemed good quality, though the shampoo was too high for the kids to reach without help. The room was clean enough, and the front desk staff were friendly and got us checked in and out quickly. There was a burn hole in the bedspread, but no other sign of smoking. One of the two light fixtures had no bulb, so it was dim. The AC worked off and on, leaving the room warm, and the fan was loud when it ran. Each bed had only two small pillows, which didn't feel like enough. No coffee maker in the room, though the fridge worked. Breakfast was disappointing. They called it grab and go, but there weren't many choices: sweet apple juice and water from a machine that looked like it had once had orange juice, bitter regular coffee, hot water, yogurt, granola bars, and whole fruit. For an affordable one-night stop, it wasn't bad.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable during my two-night stay. I wasn't pleased with the limited breakfast or the missing in-room coffee maker, which the website said would be there. There was a faint whooshing sound now and then overnight, and I couldn't tell what it was. I don't feel I got quite enough for what I paid.

Everything was clean and well looked after, and the rooms were above average for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are vending machines downstairs and some great food choices nearby.
