Comfort Inn & Suites Patriots Point

The hotel provided a nice hospitality room for our Navy reunion, and the shuttle was great. Patriot Point is a very short distance away. The service was good, the rooms were above average, and breakfast was very good. I spent a couple or a few days here. A strong four stars, though not quite five. I'd stay again if I were in the area.

The price is just right, and this has become one of my main choices when I'm in town. My wife and I came back after a good previous stay, and it was just as nice. The hotel smells fresh and is very clean; the rooms are large and kept immaculately. We slept really well on the soft bed and pillows. Breakfast was delicious, kept warm and tidy, with plenty of options. I'd give it ten stars if I could, and highly recommend it.

It's a quick trip across the nearby bridge to downtown Charleston, about 8 minutes. You can also get to the USS Yorktown museum and the ferry to Fort Sumter easily. The room was spotless and very nice, and the staff were extremely friendly. There was a musty smell, though, which could be a problem for anyone with a sensitive nose. Breakfast had good choices and was well above average.

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise: eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and plenty more. Our room was clean and smelled fine, for the record, and housekeeping even tidied it while we were out for the day. Hotels used to do that routinely, but not so much now. We were on the third floor, and our son liked the vending machines. It's an easy drive to downtown Charleston and Sullivan Island. Precious at Front deck was sweet and helpful with recommendations. Looking forward to staying again.
