The office staff were very helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed a relaxing weekend getaway. We stayed three nights in a wonderful suite with our pet, and it was easy to get outside with our dog. Restaurants and a Trader Joe's were within walking distance. We were pleased with the breakfast options and how close shopping and entertainment were.

The location is great, in a shopping center with Trader Joe’s and some good restaurants. Staff were friendly, and breakfast had solid options, with a really friendly woman working most mornings. But during our three-night stay at the end of October 2025, we never got a hot shower. The water pressure was very low, and the hot water only lukewarm, so it wasn’t relaxing. I told management, and they said the water had trouble getting to the rooms when too many people were using it. There was no fix or solution. If you want a hot shower or more than a trickle, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Not at all.

The service was excellent, especially from the older woman on the early breakfast shift. I saw her on both visits, and talking with her at 6 AM while I was still waking up was comforting. She really shows Southern Hospitality. I’ve stayed at this Hampton Inn twice; the rooms are average. The mattress in room 205 needs replacing. The king bed had two deep divots, and I kept rolling into them. It was so bad that I’d wake up turned 90 degrees, with my body where the pillows were. I didn’t get a restful night during the whole four-night trip.

I haven’t stayed at a Hampton Inn in years, but this facility and management may change my mind. Abby was great, and the room was well maintained and laid out nicely.

The hotel was clean and closer to the beach. Isabella was so sweet and pleasant while serving breakfast that she made my day. She’s definitely an asset to the kitchen and service staff.
