Heidelburg Motel

The service I got here was phenomenal. Louis, the owner, is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable people I've met in the industry, and check-in was simple. My room was VERY CLEAN, and I felt I didn't need to worry about someone breaking in. The rooms look recently renovated, and the long-term guests I met were very nice. There are businesses close by: Casey’s next door, Hy-Vee down the road, Scooters across the street, plus A&W and another gas station. This place on the outskirts of Mount Pleasant may not be the Ramada by ANY MEANS, but I got better service here than at a higher-class hotel with amenities like pools. People judge a place by its cover, but try this motel before deciding. If I'm in town again, I'd gladly choose the Heidelburg over any other motel or hotel around here. I was VERY PLEASED with my evening here.
