Breakfast was very sparse, with no juice or protein choices, just bread, cornflakes, and fruit. There are a few other things that need work too. The standing shower was nice, but its door didn’t seal, so water leaked onto the bathroom floor and mold was starting to show in a corner. The elevator wasn’t working, which made getting luggage to the upper floors difficult. The location gives easy access to the city, the room was clean, and parking was sufficient. The property has plenty of room to improve.

I stayed one night with my dog while passing through Charleston. We got in around 9 pm, and the front desk staff member greeted me right away and was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable, with no complaints. It’s convenient for both Charleston and Mt. Pleasant, and I felt safe walking the dog after dark. The hotel sits well back from the main road, so it was peaceful. Breakfast was typical for this level of hotel.

I’d been staying here for over a year and had earned diamond status. I loved the place and everything was perfect until the owner stopped serving breakfast in the morning. Apparently “hot breakfast” means waffles only. Save your money and stay somewhere without the breakfast advertisement. You’ll save money and have more to spend on a good breakfast.

The room was clean, breakfast was good, everything worked, and the staff were polite. The only problem was the lift. It wasn’t working. We were there for just one night, so I don’t know whether they fixed it as they said they would.
