Days Inn by Wyndham Renfro Valley Mount Vernon Hotel

The night clerk was wonderful, and the gentleman at checkout was kind and understood I wasn't trying to be rude when I mentioned the room problems. We felt safe, and they accommodated our service animal without any trouble. We only needed the room for one night, and it was okay for that. The room itself wasn't great. The beds looked hastily thrown together and weren't comfortable. The tub was filthy, with rust in both it and the sink, and the faucet wouldn't shut off, so it dripped all night. I seriously wanted some Comet for it. A man outside our door was talking very loudly the night before, but I asked him to lower his voice and he did. That's not the hotel's fault. We stayed one night during the third week of October. I guess you get what you pay for.

Amanda Collins made our 9 day stay feel worth every bit of what we paid and then some. When I accidentally sliced my finger, she had bandaids ready and checked that it was healing. She also asked my girl what she liked for breakfast and made sure her favorites were there the next morning. The hotel was clean, quiet, and had super nice staff. We had no neighbor issues, and it's right by an amazing Mexican restaurant, Arby's, and a gas station, with easy access to the highway. We've traveled all over the USA, and this was our best experience by far. I'd happily stay again and again. If I owned a company, I'd hire Amanda in a heartbeat!

We went to a concert at Renfro Valley, just minutes from the hotel, and we'll stay here again when we pick our next show. The rooms were clean and up to date. Glendon at the front office and GM Amanda were both great, polite, and professional. Thanks, Glendon and Amanda!

The location worked well for us, close to the interstate and Renfro Valley Entertainment Venue, and the staff were very friendly and quick to help when we had questions. But the room needed updating. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the commode and shower were dated, and the shower had cracks with a head that was hard to turn on and off. There were no toiletries at all, so we had to call for hand soap. The front desk said they were waiting on a delivery, though housekeeping had plenty on their cart when I asked them. The housekeepers apologized. The booking site also listed a coffee maker in the room, but the front desk said there wasn't one and that coffee was available in the lobby. That coffee was awful. My husband can drink almost anything, but after one sip he threw his cup away.
