Comfort Inn & Suites Mundelein-Vernon Hills

I could hear the men next door talking on their phones as if they were in my room, even though they were just speaking normally. I could make out their conversations, and close to midnight they were still up, using speakerphone with the TV loud. Since I was traveling on military orders, getting some peace and quiet mattered a lot. I called the front desk, and PAM was so sweet and understanding. She moved me to a room without a connecting door, and it was quiet. She gave me mom vibes and deserves a raise. Thank you so much! Comfort Inn is my favorite, and this was my last hotel stop after several days of travel.

The room was clean and basically quiet, and I appreciated having a working fridge. The alarm didn’t work and looked like it was missing parts at the bottom. I’d stay again if the rate were lower.

Parking was right outside our room, and both the hotel and rooms were clean. Breakfast was always plentiful, and the service was excellent. It’s about a 20-minute drive from the base and was easily the best deal in town. We highly recommend it!

I noticed some moldy areas and let the staff know. The breakfast buffet was decent, and I appreciated that they reset my room on both the second and third day, though I’m not sure why they did it on consecutive days. The room appliances were useful, but the freezer wasn’t clean. The staff were decent overall, and the two women I spoke with, whose names I forgot to get, were absolutely awesome.
