Home2 Suites by Hilton Murfreesboro

We were here as a family for six days over Thanksgiving, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and suited our needs, and breakfast was pretty decent. I'm still puzzling over the phrase "responsibly raised pork," though. Personally, I like my pork a little less responsible. The fitness room might be the best I've used in a hotel. For anyone traveling with a dog, this hotel worked really well for us. Our room was on the first floor, though I'm not sure if all the dog rooms are, and it was handy to walk straight out the door. There were plenty of trash cans in the dog area for cleanup. We didn't stay for breakfast, but the dining area was very large, and I believe there's a section for people with pets too. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed, refrigerator, plates, and dishwasher. The shower had good pressure, and the soap setup was the best I've seen in a hotel in a while. Check-in was easy, and the employees were helpful and welcoming. We'll stay again.

It's not a fancy hotel, but it made my week easier. The front desk staff were very friendly, and Pat and Kristen on the breakfast team were especially helpful and made things feel homey. Great job!

Everyone I met was very nice, and the replacement room was fine, but the first room was a major problem. When I checked in, bugs were crawling on the ceiling, lamp, and curtains. They moved me after I showed them a video, but I was paranoid for the rest of the trip because bed bugs are my biggest fear. After getting home, I emailed Hilton and heard nothing for two weeks, so I followed up. A very nice assistant manager called to apologize and sounded sincere. She said she'd add points to my account, but it was only 500 Hilton points, worth about $5. That felt ridiculous. I thought they might offer enough for a free night on another trip or something.
