My father and I loved our stay this past weekend. The employees were kind and welcoming, and check-in and checkout were super easy. Before we arrived, we had trouble getting through by phone, but they kept calling me back, which was so thoughtful. Our room was clean and cute, and we were surprised by the roomy mini fridge. The amenities were a nice extra too: the sluice, playground, very clean pool, and grill. There’s enough fridge space for a small grocery shop, so next time we’re planning to bring food and use the grill. Can’t wait to come back!

We were glad we chose this affordable, clean little hotel near the diamond mine. It was easy to get to, well maintained, and had all we needed, with lots of personal touches that made it feel like the owners care. We’d stay again.

The beds were comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep before a full day digging for diamonds. Crater of Diamonds State park is only about a five-minute drive away, so this is a great place to stay when visiting. Cindy was extremely kind and helpful when I spoke with her. She’s a gem, and we’ll definitely come back.

We met some of the nicest people in the area here, especially Cindy, who was a sweetheart and went out of her way to make us comfortable after a reservation problem. She felt bad about what happened and was so helpful. The room was a nice setup, with three comfortable full beds. It was an older inn, but clean and bug-free. A warning about booking: call the inn directly. I used a number I thought belonged to them and was overcharged by an underhanded company that wasn’t affiliated with Yellow Diamond inn. I managed to get $90 reimbursed by the company I booked through.

Cindy at the front desk is very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The inn is a little over two miles from Crater of Diamonds State Park, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Just something to note, not a complaint: the shower heads aren’t set up for tall people.
