Americas Best Inn Muskogee

I put the do not disturb sign up because I wanted privacy, but staff came in without contacting me first. They took the towels and washcloths and left no clean replacements, so I had to leave my room half dressed to ask where they had gone. They didn't take out trash, make the bed, or do the other things you'd expect from room service. When I raised it with a woman who seemed to be the owner or a family member, she said daily room service was required. I never agreed to that, and the hotel gave me the sign in the first place. I was upset that my space had been entered and the things I needed were missing. They also refused to refund the nights I didn't stay after I left over this privacy violation. There's no ice and barely any hot water; breakfast would be better replaced by something from QT. I couldn't get them to let me speak with a manager or owner to resolve it. I'll report them to Customer Protection. Anyone else who feels wronged can contact ConsumerProtection@oag.ok.gov.

The room and bedding both smelled bad. I called twice about the TV because I could barely hear it even with the volume turned all the way up. They said nobody was available to look at it and there was nothing they could do. I won't stay here again.

I'm here for a work stay of two months, and this place deserves 10 stars if that were possible. It looks like it was remodeled recently, everything feels new, and the rooms are cleaned every day. 👍👍💯

We booked two rooms with two beds each a month ahead, but only three hours before we arrived, they called to say they had just two one-bed rooms. We accepted that, though they barely apologized. I was traveling with my three kids, and the deadbolt on our room was misaligned and wouldn't work. The room phone was broken, so I called the front desk from my cell. The woman told me not to worry because it was a safe area, said there were no other rooms, and said I wouldn't get a refund if I left. Completely unacceptable. The rooms had been updated and the bed was comfortable, but that didn't make the lock situation okay.
