Our Deluxe Queen room at the Periwinkle Inn was just right for a weekend getaway. It’s a quaint place with handy extras, including coffee makers on each floor and a breakfast bar stocked in the morning. The location is hard to beat, a couple of minutes from the ferry terminals and downtown shopping.

Gail, our innkeeper, was available by phone at any hour and shared local sights to visit. We went on an island tour she recommended, and the welcome cookies and outstanding continental breakfast were lovely. We had a fantastic stay in our two-room suite at Nantucket’s The Periwinkle Inn. It’s perfectly located for walking to the Whale museum, boutiques, and lots of restaurants.

The ferry was canceled, so we booked a room just a few hours ahead. The place was clean, the location was great, and breakfast was good. I’d stay again.

Gail knows so much about the area, and the housekeeping staff were very attentive to detail. The bed was comfortable, I loved the tub, and my husband was happy with the shower. It’s a beautiful, quaint spot close to everything.
