The breakfast was a highlight, with lots of fresh, tasty choices. The lobby and grounds were well kept, and our room was clean and had everything we needed: microwave, fridge, sink, coffee machine, glassware, and hairdryer. Those amenities were especially handy with children. We also enjoyed the clean pool and jacuzzi in the evening, and the water was pleasantly warm. When we first arrived, there was a strong sewage smell around the grounds and on the first floor. It was unpleasant and made us worry it would linger, but after we went out for a few hours and came back, it had completely disappeared. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and polite, and patiently answered our questions. That initial smell is why I’m giving four stars. Otherwise, we were very happy and would gladly stay again.

For my first overnight in Napa, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Napa Valley was a good choice. The staff were helpful and friendly, and both the room and bed were very comfortable. It rained that evening, so we missed out on using the fire pit and hot tub, which was disappointing, but we still had a very pleasant stay and would come back.

The staff made this the best Marriott stay I’ve had in several months. Everyone I met, from the front desk to the bartender and breakfast employee, was friendly, attentive, and seemed to care about making guests comfortable. The included breakfast had a nice range of options too. Our room was spacious, clean, modern, and well looked after, with a comfortable bed and a separate sleeping and living area. The hotel is close to wineries and downtown Napa, but the setting stays quiet and relaxing. I had a great stay and would definitely return.

There’s a bar in the lobby, and its staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was well stocked, and the room had plenty of space, with a fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker, and hairdryer.

The staff were nice, but I wouldn’t stay here again, even as a longtime Marriott member. The room was dated, the TV barely worked, and insects were crawling around. The toilet was old, with a handle that stuck upright, and the shower wouldn’t drain, so it felt like bathing in standing water. I told management about the shower plumbing on day two of our four-day stay, but nothing was done. Don’t be fooled by the lobby photos. I can’t recommend this place.
