A really good motel for the money. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the place stayed quiet. Staff were friendly, check-in went smoothly, and everything seemed well maintained. I’d recommend it.

The front desk man wasn’t friendly or helpful, and then he assigned our room, 202 at 590 Donelson Pike, to another family of four. They had keys and were trying to get in while we were asleep at 7:30 in the morning. The same employee later called to ask which room we were in and confirm our noon checkout, but never apologized. After the family came back to the lobby, he called my mom at 7:41 to say it was okay now, even though they’d been assigned the same room, 202. It seems convenient that you don’t remember this, since it happened just this morning. The location is near the airport, but there are plenty of other places to choose from. I won’t return or recommend it. Horrible customer service.

It’s an okay place if all you need is somewhere to sleep. For a nicer stay, I’d pay a little more and go elsewhere. We spent extra for a room with a pullout couch, but the bed part was so uncomfortable that my son slept on the couch itself.

The manager insisted she personally checks every room, talked over me, raised her voice, and basically called me a liar instead of considering that something might have been missed. I was shocked by how aggressive and disrespectful she was. My husband and I had stayed a few days, and the bathroom exhaust fan was so loud I thought it just needed cleaning. After more than 17 years in cleaning, I know what to look for. When I removed the cover, the fan was caked in dust and looked like a fire hazard. I cleaned it and planned to ask someone the next morning to help clip the cover back on. We extended our stay, but my husband had accidentally booked a different room type, so we needed to move rooms. While we were packing, housekeeping and management went into the old room, saw the fan cover off, and accused me of putting a plastic bag over the smoke detector before I could explain. I don’t smoke, didn’t smoke in the room, and absolutely did not cover that detector. I know mistakes happen, but I don’t understand accusing a paying guest and refusing to listen. After I’d cleaned a maintenance problem that housekeeping should have caught, I was talked down to and told we had to check out the next morning. Between the poor upkeep and the way management handled this, we’ll never stay here again.
