Grand Hyatt Nashville

We’re here now, and the location is great, an easy walk to Honky Tonk Hwy. The lobby and rooms look beautiful, the staff is friendly, and I’m a fan of the roof top bar. A few things could be better: the hot water makes a freight train kind of noise, the beds felt very hard, and nobody answered when we called the front desk a few times. We’ll need to go down to the lobby for anything we need.

We were able to check in quickly even though we arrived before check In, and the hotel surprised me with a complimentary bottle of wine for my birthday. Our room was clean, and although we were near the train, we didn’t hear it from our top-floor room. The bars were only a 6 minute walk away, too. We had a great weekend and would definitely come back.

I spent 4-5 nights here for a conference and had a great stay. The hotel was decorated for the holidays, and there was live music on most of the nights I was there. It’s a lovely new property, with good service and easy access to broadway. It’s also not far from the airport. The room had thoughtful touches, like a vanity light with a clock, that made it feel high end for the price. There are several bars and restaurants onsite, and I enjoyed the meals I had at the Nashville grange on the lobby level. Lou/na on the top floor has a cool Vibe and a view, though I didn’t think the drinks were worth the premium. I’d recommend the Grand Hyatt for a Nashville stay, and expect I’ll return.

Frist museum is right across the street, and the new Pinnacle area and music venue are less than a block away, with easy parking. I was here for a small conference and found it a beautiful, stylish hotel. The lobby and bar have a great atmosphere, and downtown activities are just a few minutes on foot. It’s also far enough away to stay quiet and calm.
