Four Seasons Nashville

I come here to unwind, read, sip a drink, or listen to a playlist or podcast with one AirPod in. I sometimes hope to find someone for an interesting conversation, but while everyone is friendly, most people keep to themselves. I've only tried the lower bar so far, where the staff are attentive and kind. I rarely have to wait. I haven't been up to the rooftop yet. The valets are quick, professional, and so sweet they deserve the biggest tip. The design is beautiful, and after stepping in from Nashville's buzzing, rainy streets, the warm, flattering light feels safe and almost like home. I can relax without watching out for the usually harmless "Wanna know each other?" rascals. There are cozy cushions at little tables, a restaurant area, and bar seats with back support. No, I wasn't paid to advertise this. It's my holy grail safe place in Nashville.

We were in town shopping for dental equipment and found the location central, with easy access in and out. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with the amenities I expected from the Four Seasons. We had breakfast and drinks at the first floor restaurant, where the bites were delicious and the convenience was great. I'd recommend it.

For our honeymoon, my husband and I felt incredibly unwelcome. Compared with the Four Seasons in atlanta, this place didn't come close on quality or professionalism. Hidden fees kept piling up, so after the first night we stopped ordering anything. We were also charged nearly $100 extra for the wrong bottle of wine, and when we pointed it out ourselves, a man at the front desk was rude. I've stayed at plenty of four and five star hotels, and none had this pretentious a vibe. Unless you enjoy throwing money into a dumpster fire, you'd be better off at any three star hotel downtown.

We've stayed at Four Seasons properties four times now and have consistently had great experiences. This visit had a few more bumps than the earlier ones, but the team worked to put things right. At checkout, management acknowledged the problems and helped us leave on a positive note. There were issues with the room lighting, confusion about turndown service, and a stretch when we didn't receive service. Julia, who leads housekeeping, stepped in that evening. She was kind and responsive, made a real effort to resolve things, and offered extra hospitality that we appreciated. The room itself was excellent, with a great view over downtown Nashville. The location made it easy to walk to Broadway and back, even in cold weather. We also booked massages, and the spa time beforehand was a highlight. We really enjoyed it and recommend it. There were a few hiccups, but the team made us feel looked after. That's why we keep coming back and why they are the Four Seasons.
