Red Carpet Inn

The mattress was the best, and sleeping on it felt like being at home. The hotel was freshly updated with new carpet, paint, lights, microwave, and refrigerator, and it was nicely decorated. We felt very safe at night in a new city, thanks in part to the well-lit parking lot. We’d definitely recommend it.

A quiet stay, with a good fridge and nice water pressure in the shower. The sink light was unusual, with a touch-screen on/off button. Breakfast was a welcome change from the usual frozen mini sausage biscuits. There’s a Cash Saver and Dirt Cheap right next door, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a four-cup coffee maker with a complimentary coffee pouch.

The AC didn’t work in our room. It was already cranked up high when we arrived, but the temperature didn’t seem to change. I told the desk employee, who offered to move us, but that never happened. Breakfast was a joke: cold biscuits and muffins, plus other hot dishes in the lobby that were gone within 30 minutes of breakfast starting. The smell of weed and other drugs hit us as soon as we got to the parking lot in front of the rooms. We even had to ask room service for another roll of toilet paper while they were cleaning a different room. This hotel was crap.

We booked two nights, but we’re leaving early because I don’t want to bring any critters home and have to burn the house down. Roach infested. Fn disgusting.
