Super 8 by Wyndham New Castle

I paid $350 for three nights and really wish I'd seen a warning before booking. The place needs updating, and there's a huge pothole at the entrance that could swallow a car. The room had a dusty, old pay-by-the-hour smell. Every time I've been there, the dark-haired, dark-eyed woman has seemed aggressive. They also cleaned out our room before checkout, while I still had private items covered by a nondisclosure agreement in there. Zero stars. For what this costs, you could look on Priceline for a room with a pool or jacuzzi instead. This place feels like a slum.

The room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. It's near the main attractions, yet quiet at night. What I remember most is how kind and helpful the team was: the front desk made check-in easy, housekeeping kept the room spotless, and the restaurant staff even remembered how I take my coffee. I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. I'll stay here again next time I'm in town, and would recommend it for the warm service.

I spent a week at this motel and really liked my stay. The room was comfortable and very clean. The man at the front desk was helpful and had a smile.

The new ownership seems to be putting real effort into the Super 8 by Wyndham New Castle. The place feels clean, welcoming, and well managed, and the rooms are tidy, comfortable, and maintained to a good standard. Staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help. It's a good value, and I'd recommend staying here if you're visiting the area. Curious to see what the new owners do next.
