It’s been a comfortable, warm place to stay close to work, especially with winter coming. The team does a good job keeping things clean and in working order. At Hometown Inn, you can book a room for a day or a week. Mine has a huge bed, strong water pressure, TV, mini-fridge, microwave, closet space, towels, trash bags, and coffee included. Public transit stops right outside. God Bless :)
The price was good, and I’d take this over spending $235 a night somewhere fancy that doesn’t offer much more than decor. The room was very basic, but clean, with great sheets. The person at the desk was awesome and friendly. The walls are thin, though it was pretty quiet overall.
They refused to let my grandpa and me stay because he had a seizure. He was alert, and they were just disrespectful and made him feel bad. We’d been out working late. They also advertise $56 outside, then tell you it’s $75 once you’re inside. Crazy.
The rooms are definitely nicer than they used to be, so they’re making improvements. I stayed here a couple of years ago, apparently, and they said I’d taken a washcloth. Before I could get a room this time, I had to pay them $3.50 for the missing one. I don’t think I actually said I stole it, but they said it was gone. I paid, whatever.
Such a nasty place. I went home with BED BUGS!!!!
