It’s very quiet here, and the apartments are clean, spacious, and have terrific views. The staff are impeccable, friendly, and quick to help. The amenities are top quality, with a spa and gym that feel five-star. There are bowling alleys and event spaces for gatherings big and small, plus multiple roof decks that work well for spending time alone or with a group throughout the year. One of the best rental properties in Manhattan.

I’ve lived here a long time, and the change is hard to miss. The apartments are showing their age, the office often looks dark and doesn’t answer the phone, and rent payments have moved from being handled in-house to an outside service. The gym fee has doubled, while using the BBQ areas now costs almost four times as much. There used to be several maintenance workers for this building alone. Now one person covers it and a neighboring building, and the front desk is often down to one concierge instead of two. This place used to be an amazing building, with great finishes, well-kept units, and staff who were always available and went above and beyond. Related, once the go-to rental company for people looking for high-end apartments, seems to have changed course and focused on squeezing every last penny from tenants.

The health club and roof deck are both huge pluses. My apartment feels almost new, gets lots of light, and is surprisingly quiet. The building staff are friendly and quick to respond, especially Deto and Isuf. Fantastic place to live!

Edit: Now that things are more or less post-COVID, we still appreciate how friendly and great the management is, but the huge parties that book private spaces have become a real turn-off. Groups of 20 or more take over the amenity areas, and it feels much less like a luxury building and more like Jersey Shore Chuck-E-Cheeze. Once the weather warmed up, I couldn’t find a quiet outdoor spot with reliable internet to work or relax. We’d consider the place again if the policies changed, but for now we’re glad to have our own private roofdeck at another residence. Before that, we stayed in an extended-stay unit while looking for apartments in the city after selling our upstate home. Nadia in the management and leasing office clearly cares about the building and its people. Everyone we spoke with was available, responsive, and willing to help make renting a pleasure. We may not be able to get the unit we need in the timeframe we need, but we’ll definitely return to Related managed buildings. My husband fell in love with the place and its amenities.
