Sofitel New York

We were in New York visiting colleges with our son, and one staff member offered his personal number in case our son ever needed help getting around the city on his own. As parents, that generous, sincere gesture meant everything and is something we won’t forget. The staff were warm, attentive, and kind from the moment we arrived, and breakfast each morning was delicious. They even sent us off with a small care package, sometimes croissants or fresh fruit for later. The hotel was stunning, impeccably clean, and close to everything we needed. We left feeling grateful and sure we’d found our new home away from home in New York.

A snowstorm changed our plans, and Sofitel had a room available for our NYC trip to see a Broadway Show. The hotel was beautiful, with Art Deco style, and the staff were pleasant to talk to and accommodating. It was clean, with no bugs, and the beds had soft, fluffy comforters. They provided a bottle to fill at the water stations on each floor, which was so convenient. We refilled it often, especially handy if you need water for medications. We enjoyed being able to walk to the theater and get food nearby. Wonderful stay, thank you. We plan to come back!

The peaceful location was close to everything, and the room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The French-inspired decor and swanky feel made the stay chic and luxurious. Staff were outstanding and went above and beyond throughout my visit. I highly recommend the Sofitel for its elegance, comfort, and top-tier hospitality.

The bistro soup and the front desk service were both terrific, and the meal from room service was outstanding and arrived quickly. Housekeeping also came in under 10 minutes to make up the very comfortable sofa bed. It would’ve been a perfect 10 if there had been a microwave to warm up the wonderful dinner baguettes for breakfast, but that’s such a small thing it hardly matters.
