Five44 will be my first check for availability next time I’m in NYC. We felt safe in the area throughout our stay, and Hells Kitchen is such a beautiful, lively part of the city. The location was hard to beat. Our room was clean and safe, and the staff were great. I highly recommend hotel Five44.

We only needed a place to sleep, and it worked perfectly for us. It’s not a 5-star hotel, but it’s in an excellent location, good value for the money, and the staff were always very kind and helpful.

Definitely good value for money. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and there was a fridge, microwave, and kitchen utensils available. I gave it five stars, though it’s not really a five-star hotel. The location is excellent.

Miguel, our host, was really friendly. The place is simple but made for a great city trip stay. It’s in a nice neighborhood close to the city center, and we’ll definitely come back.

The location near Times Square is the reason I’m giving this place two stars. During our four-night stay, I couldn’t stop coughing at night, and it only happened in the hotel room. At first the room looked clean and appealing, with a full mini kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and a very friendly receptionist. But the kitchen was greasy and dirty, as if it wasn’t cleaned often. Housekeeping never cleaned our room, even though we put the sign on the door.
