Ly New York Hotel

For what it costs, this hotel feels like an absolute steal. I’ve stayed at major chains and independent places in New York City, and apart from the rare $500+ luxury stay, this is the best hotel I’ve used anywhere. The room was spacious, which is unusual for a mid-range NYC hotel, and it was spotless and modern. The amenities stood out, including slippers and a heated towel rack. I’ll make this my first choice on future trips to New York City.

The room had a really nice feel. When we opened the door, it smelled fresh, with no stale air or heavy cleaning chemical scent. The lighting was bright enough to get ready, which many places miss. The pillows had just the right balance of softness and firmness, and I fell asleep easily. We really enjoyed the overall vibe.

The restaurant’s Chinese food was excellent if that’s what you’re after. If you want grilled food, Colombian cuisine, or halal-specific meals, it may not be the right fit. The hotel itself was neat, clean, and peaceful, with a calmer atmosphere than a busy hotel. It runs on a self-service system, but everything was organized and easy to use, and coffee is available 24/7. The staff and manager were friendly and helpful, and the service was good. I had a very pleasant stay at LY New York Hotel.

LY New York Hotel is a great spot in Queens if you want a quiet, comfortable evening to unwind after traveling. I booked at the last minute and was welcomed by a beautiful lobby and attentive service. My room was clean and comfy, and the shower was heavenly. Zara, sorry if I spelled that wrong, was so courteous and sweet, and helped me book the same room for another evening. I’ll definitely book here again whenever I visit.
