Alexis at the front desk made a great first impression. She was warm and clearly cared about guests, handled my requests with extra effort, and made me feel more welcome than I usually do at hotels. I stay in hotels often, but rarely get that kind of greeting. Moxy Williamsburg was my favorite of the Moxy locations I’ve tried. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the bar had great cocktails at night. In the morning there was good coffee and fresh bagels. They also hosted a fun vintage men’s clothing event with some unique finds. I’ll definitely be back.

I was there for 4 days, from 12/5-12/8, and had a fantastic stay at Moxy Williamsburg. Tiffany and Marcus were lovely, always sweet and willing to hear about my NYC adventures. The rest of the staff were helpful and kind too. My fourth-floor room was clean, small but enjoyable for one person, with cute touches, not much closet space, and a wonderful shower. The rooftop view was fantastic. There were great shops, restaurants, and bodegas in the neighborhood, and I felt safe walking alone at night. I could hear hallway conversations, doors closing, and sirens, but my green 💚 noise helped. Weekends get busy, and the rooftop bar can be very crowded, so a lower floor may suit you if you want less noise. Check the hours too, since private events mean it isn’t always open to the public. Free coffee from 7-10 am was perfect. The music in the lobby and elevators was great. I’ll be back, thank you Moxy! Statue of 🗽 ❤️ 🍎!

The rooms look great and the whole place is clean, with a beautiful, well-organized main facility and friendly staff who seem happy to help. But the setup is all about hanging things on the wall. The little wall sticks are neat, though I’m not putting my boxers on them. There’s a small table that folds out of the wall, and I like that idea, but wish it were longer, ideally the full length of the wall. There’s hardly anywhere to set things down, no drawers, and just a few flat surfaces. The cubbies under the bed work for shoes, but not much else. I’d really like somewhere for clothes besides the floor. The lights are quirky too. My bed light flickers if there’s a bump, which made me laugh, but all the room lights shut off if I sit still too long while working at the tiny desk. Moving around doesn’t turn them back on, so I have to get up and use the switch. Auto off, manual on.

We spent the night here before our engagement party, and the hotel made it feel extra special. I’d called ahead to ask for a “happy engagement” message on the TV for my fiancé, but they went further and decorated the room and left us champagne. It was more than I’d hoped for. The room was lovely, and the staff were attentive and excellent with everything we needed. Thanks, Moxy, for making the night so memorable!

The staff made my New York visit wonderful. Whatever I asked for showed up within minutes, and the whole place had such a positive feel. Even the other guests were nice. The rooms were cozy and clean, and I had nothing to complain about, which is unusual for me. Breakfast was great: free muffins and bottled drinks, plus I ordered the toasted bagel with smoked salmon, capers, and red onion. So good. When the restaurant closes, there’s also a 24/7 deli next door. I got the Brooklyn burger with chips and cheese, then apparently fell asleep with my mouth open. Really good hotel for a short stay.
