My bicycle was stolen from the sidewalk by the entrance to Olympia House, so I asked if someone could check the camera footage to identify who took it. I wasn’t asking to view the cameras myself. When the security officer called someone, I overheard them say to tell me it was a private establishment and the public couldn’t view the cameras. They didn’t even consider what I’d lost or how I needed the bike to get to work. That response devastated me on top of the theft. How can people be so heartless? Have they never needed help themselves? None of us knows where we might end up in life. Treat people like fellow humans, and don’t wait until you’re in a difficult place to remember we’re all the same species. They clearly care about business, not people. No one should support them.

I lived here for a year as a tenant and had an excellent experience. Thanks to Eddie, David Hakim, Tanya, and everyone for the wonderful service and professionalism. The staff go above and beyond, and this is the best housing in Manhattan. I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone.

We just stopped in for cheesecake and water. The two cheesecakes at the top of the shelves were so moldy they looked like they were starting to grow, and staff reluctantly threw them out after we pointed it out. Then they charged us $4.50 for a bottle of water that costs $3. I guess I’d be annoyed too if someone asked me to toss out my science experiments.

The neighbors are really loud and disruptive, and when I asked them to quiet down, they got hostile and aggressive. I’ve emailed management several times, but they’ve done nothing about it. I wouldn’t recommend moving here unless you’re fine being kept awake at odd hours.
