The Evelyn Hotel

We had a separate living area with a couch, TV, and small table and chairs, plus a nicely stocked bar. The bathroom was a great size and even had heated floors, which I haven't seen in my other NYC stays. The room was spotlessly clean, thanks to Julianna and crew. I was looking for a true art-deco hotel, and Evelyn delivered that 1920s feel from the lobby and bar through to the beautiful room. Our two nights in a suite started with a bump, but manager Andre and the staff made up for it with real generosity. Angel welcomed us when we arrived and was also the last to wish us a safe trip home. He and most of the team were quick to help with anything we needed. We can't wait to go back.

A really nice stay. The service was great, and Ninepin had a small, very nice breakfast included. It's a beautiful hotel with a good vibe, and the Tusk Bar is gorgeous without feeling intrusive. There’s a quiet mezzanine on the second level where you can work, above the nice café. The rooms are small by NYC standards, but the heat control worked great, and the bathroom had two of my favorites, a rain shower and heated tile floor.

Aman was so helpful before we arrived and checked in with me a few times. When an odd glitch made it look like I might have double booked, he took care to make sure there was no problem. He also arranged some lovely snacks for my wife's birthday while we were in town to celebrate, which we won't forget. From check-in to check-out, I enjoyed every minute. The location, beautiful decor, roomy rooms, and dreamy bathrooms were all great, and the customer service made the stay. We'd highly recommend it and will book direct with The Evelyn again when we return to NY.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time and can't wait to come back. From the moment we walked in, the gorgeous rooms and art deco style had us mesmerized. The staff made the stay, too. Keyanne at the front desk checked us in with such bright energy and gave us great lobster roll recommendations. Angel and Xavier, the bellmen, were pros and really helpful. Marisela kept the room looking perfect each day, and Amal, the guest experience ambassador, surprised us with a bag of goodies that made the stay 10x better. Noah at the desk was also a blast to talk to. The whole team was thoughtful and attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Unforgettable!
