The room was clean and cheaper than the only other hotel nearby, and it’s right beside the train, though the train isn’t running at the moment. But the room was tiny, with just a double bed and one chair, and nowhere to put anything. The metal bed frame squeaked constantly, and hot water was unreliable and barely enough for a shower. There was a loud generator outside the window that seemed to run all day and night, vibrating the floor and bed for no clear reason. Other guests also kept leaving the outer door unlocked.
