Times Square West Hotel, BW Signature Collection

I've stayed here for a cheap NYC staycation quite a few times. It's always clean, and the staff are friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. Definitely recommend, 10/10!

For Manhattan, getting a room under $100 was great value. Ours was dated and not as clean as we’d hoped, though we didn’t see bed bugs or anything like that. The bathroom tap swung between boiling and cold, with little in between. Breakfast was free but very basic, the coffee was terrible, and the tiny seating area filled up while the food ran out quickly. Even getting hot water was a struggle. They refilled the thermos with lukewarm water, and two of the toaster’s four slots didn’t work for most of our stay. They have a lot of room to improve, especially with maintenance and guest amenities. If you’re picky, this place may not suit you, but I still think it’s good value.

For my first trip to NYC, the experience went beyond what I expected. Times Square West is well placed for Midtown attractions, and the room was warm, inviting, and really clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely come back, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here in NYC.

The room was small, but the service was great, and the full breakfast from Yana was lovely. Miriam gave personal service, and Brandon was at the front desk. Many languages, all good! Jay Horowitz
