The sixth-floor room had a lovely view of the city, and it was spotless. The breakfast was good too, better than most, even if it wasn't the best I've had. I was a little nervous after reading some reviews, but we had no problems at all. Three friends and I were visiting the city for the first time, and this was the cheapest place nearby we could find, just a subway ride from where we wanted to go. The clerk gave us really helpful directions and recommendations. I'd happily stay here again.

The location is good, but my friends and I were treated unfairly, and I wouldn't stay here again. Our room wasn't clean and had a smell, and when we arrived around 1 pm there wasn't a room ready. That hasn't happened to me often at other hotels. The heater didn't work, and when the front desk woman found out we'd need to change rooms, she sounded very upset. When I brought up the issue, she wouldn't accept responsibility. On top of that, my card was charged without my knowledge or permission. The manager called our room out of the blue and said they couldn't reach me. I've never had another hotel treat me this way.

The room had a fridge and plenty of drawers and closet space, though I wish there'd been a microwave. It was clean, updated, and nice, and the service was great. We paid $25 a night for the garage under the hotel. We stayed Saturday to Monday, and the main hassle was the guest limit. Our booking allowed two people, and staff made a fuss when two friends stopped by before we went out, even though they weren't staying overnight. We also checked out late, around 12:30 instead of 11, and had to pay an extra fee. For the price we paid, I'd still stay here again.

The room wasn't very clean, the coffee maker didn't work, and the towels could've used a proper wash with bleach. When we asked to change rooms, the staff seemed annoyed. At check-in, the manager on duty yelled that I'd have to pay extra for a third person. I was treated with blatant disrespect, something I hadn't experienced before at a hotel. The next day, the Spanish-speaking man at the front desk was the rudest hotel employee I've ever encountered. When I tried to cancel our reservation, he had an attitude and made me feel like I was in jail. Do your research and read the reviews before booking here.
