Walker Hotel Tribeca

For a work trip I stayed in the King suite. The room was basically just a king-sized bed, and the thermostat didn’t work, though the default temperature happened to suit me. I would’ve liked a proper desk and chair for work, plus a mini fridge. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the location was prime. I was happy with the stay overall.

For a weekend or overnight, this place is perfect. The room was spotless and super cute, and they made the small space feel surprisingly roomy. There’s no space for a suitcase, though, so I wouldn’t stay for long. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the hotel is right in the heart of TriBeCa. I had possibly the best danish downstairs at the little cafe, and the coffee was good too. I didn’t get to go, but I heard there’s live jazz in the bar some nights. Loved my stay!

Small room, but spotless and comfortable. We appreciated the discounted parking, and the daily $15 credit for the coffee shop or restaurant was a standout. It made it easy to start the morning with delicious freshly brewed coffee on site. Complimentary bottled water was another convenient touch. Those little details made the stay feel like good value for the city, and we look forward to coming back. It’s rare to find a hotel that’s easy on the wallet yet feels like you’re getting more than you paid for 😊

I’ve been here twice for work and will keep it near the top of my list. The front desk service is impeccable. Special shoutout to Edwin, who’s helped me about 3x now and has been friendly, patient, quick, and efficient every time. The attached restaurant keeps odd hours, but the food is yummy, especially the autumn risotto. I gave the room four stars because it’s remarkably small in my opinion. That’s fine for a work trip, though I’d want more space for a fun stay. Also, during both visits the phone didn’t work, so I couldn’t call downstairs and had to get fully dressed to go down. A minor annoyance.
