Harsh was awesome, and the cleaning crew were kind and great. They spoke great English, too. I wasn’t trying to be racist, I just like practicing my Spanish when I can. I speak like a broken five-year-old, so I appreciated their patience. The staff were great overall. Popeyes and Dokin Donuts need to stop blowing their trash into the parking lot with leaf blowers, though. Wi-Fi didn’t seem to work in the back area.

I stayed here a few years ago for Parent weekend at UDell and thought it was a dump. I booked it again by accident, but this time it wasn’t bad. It looks completely renovated, and the location and value seem good. The TV is analog, which is odd, and it smells like paint, but hey, it was clean and quiet.

The rooms are modern, clean, and come with daily service, and there’s a pretty gazebo on the property that’s being remodeled right now. They’ve got accessible rooms near the office, plus laundry and an ice machine. The lot is shared with Popeyes, Dunkin, and Smileys. My only issues were hearing outside noise and not having an iron or ironing board.

Harsh, Mica, and the housekeeping crew are all really friendly, and everyone seems to put effort into making your stay a good one. I’ve stayed at Extended Stay America on Continental Drive and Red Roof Inn on S. College Ave, both in Newark, and this Motel 6 is much nicer than either one. It surpasses them by a lot. Many 🌟🌟🌟🌟!!!!

Mika, the hotel manager, is professional, considerate, and friendly, and the rest of the staff are kind and accommodating too. Affordable choices are limited, so it’s nice to find good quality on a budget here. Really comfortable and convenient, I’d recommend it.
