The rooms were dingy, smelled awful, almost like urine, and cost more than $70. The sheets and blankets were very unclean, and I found roaches and tiny spiders crawling over the bed. I showed the owners video proof of the spiders, but they said they came from outside. They were rude, had harsh attitudes, and communicated poorly. They don't care about complaints, just the money. The hotel quality and the way they run the business are disgusting. Keep your money and find somewhere better.

When my family and I checked in, the refrigerator was filthy and still had things left inside. The towels and washcloths were dirty, and so were the floors. Then at bedtime there were roaches all over the headboard; when I turned on the light, I saw them on the floor too. The whole room was a disaster. We told the staff, and all they said was they were sorry it happened and that an exterminator had sprayed the day before we arrived. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

On my second stay, I noticed a big improvement. The room had been redone with new furniture, carpet, paint, and appliances, including a microwave and mini fridge. There were no bugs this time, and the front desk was helpful and courteous as before. Renovations are still underway, so bear with them. The location is great, right at City Center. On my first visit, I stayed a few nights and liked the location, but the renovation still had a long way to go and there were some bugs. The owner was nice, made sure I had what I needed, and even asked if I felt safe. I did. It's fine for a short stay.

It felt like going back to the 80s, and I didn't mind. This is an old-school, low-tech hotel, but I was comfortable and felt safe. The staff were friendly, and Sonic and 7-11 are nearby. Worked for me.
