At more than $500 a week, I’d look elsewhere. The building is in poor repair, with spider webs all over it and the stairs. There were roaches in the rooms, and in two rooms the TVs didn’t work. One room had no toilet paper, the soap dispenser was loose from the wall, and the wood around the sink was falling off. The room cleaners were much nicer than the front desk staff, who were rude and strangely confrontational. The only thing this place has going for it is the price.

The front desk man was helpful and found us a room at another motel, which was the one good part of this stay. We’d been sent to room 246 in building B, and the hallway and room were filthy. It smelled terrible, there was dog food on the floor, and the inside security lock was broken. When we went back for our things, we couldn’t get into the room. Thankfully, the maintenance guy tried to help, and I showed him how to open it with a master key, lol. If you’re in this area, don’t rent a room here.

The beds were reasonably comfortable for what we paid. We did have a smoking room, though, and there was dried soda all over the walls and dead centipedes on the floor.

Red Roofs are usually decent on price and let you bring pets for free, while the rest can be a bit subpar. This one might be the best Red Roof I’ve stayed in anywhere in the country.

The gym is missing about half its weights. The rooms need cleaning, especially under the beds, but that’s really it. Otherwise, it was good.
