Horizon Inn & Suites

I was promised a newly renovated room, but the shower flooded, the remote and refrigerator didn’t work, and the sink light was out. There was no microwave or room phone either. I feel like I was fleeced. Don’t stay here.

The rooms were quiet and had no bugs, and they were acceptable for the price. The location was really convenient, and every staff member I dealt with was kind. Mrs.Patel ALWAYS had a smile, even on the phone, where you could hear it in her voice. I only wish I could give the place 10 stars. They’re remodeling now, and the new rooms look great. I can’t wait to return!

After significant airport delays, I arrived late for the three-night booking I’d made. I walked into the room and knew I wouldn’t be comfortable staying there, so I immediately used my laptop and hotspot to book another hotel. I didn’t stop to take photos. The front desk told me to contact reservations for a full refund, but my request was denied. Given how quickly I left and the circumstances, that’s extremely disappointing. I’d hoped not to have to write this, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

We paid extra for late checkout, and the night clerk printed that on our receipt. Even so, room service opened our locked door after we’d said we didn’t need service, and this happened more than once. Later, a woman came by, opened the door herself, and denied that we’d paid for late checkout. We showed her the receipt, but she still insisted we leave, speaking rudely and condescendingly and scolding us for not opening the door. She said she’d come back and open it herself if we were still there. I felt unsafe when she went out of her way to unlock the door after we’d clearly told her we had late checkout. We were disturbed two or three times in all. The main room also had no electricity outside the bathroom. I’m appalled by the staff’s lack of privacy and respect, and would ask for my money back after the repeated interruptions and needless scolding. I couldn’t give this place enough zero stars.
