The employees were pleasant and professional, the free breakfast was decent, and parking across the street cost $13, which wasn't bad. Still, I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have to. I expected more from the Marriott name; this felt more like a Motel 8. We booked a two-queen suite, but it was so cramped we could barely get past each other. The carpet and couch looked dated and stained, and the mattresses were stained too, though the beds were comfortable. The iron leaked, the closet door was broken, and the television only worked sometimes.

Traffic noise from Hampton Blvd kept us up all night, even on the fifth floor. We heard drag racing, motorcycles, sirens, and more, so I can't recommend this place. The room also felt very dated. The shower rod was partly broken, leaving the yellowed curtain brushing against the toilet, and there was hair in the tub and on the shower walls.

We picked this place because it's very close to family, though rooms facing the main road do get noisy. It's a typical Springhill Suites, without anything fancy. The rooms have a living area, a microwave, a small fridge, and a coffee maker. Breakfast was decent, with both hot and cold options.

The staff and management made us feel completely disregarded. The front desk was pleasant at check-in, but didn't explain parking, checkout, or how to reach room service from the room. We later found room service rude and security was rude too. During a four-day stay, housekeeping came only once. They changed towels and took trash but didn't clean the bathroom, vacuum, or wipe surfaces. When we asked for fresh towels, the employees had a horrible attitude. They clearly aren't paid enough, and this is a management problem. Our room was filthy. The floors were dusty and dirty, there was a squashed bug on the curtain and door, and the stained sheets and blankets made it seem like the room hadn't been properly cleaned in months. The elevators shook. The sink was outside the bathroom, which had no trash can, so we had to carry rubbish to the one small bag in the living area. We got one bar of soap with nowhere to put it, and it had three holes punched in it to make it smaller. There was mold by the tub, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash seemed to be 99% water. Security humiliated us in the lobby when we were trying to dispose of our trash there. A man in uniform, with a lollipop in his mouth, was flirting with another security worker. He said the bag clearly wouldn't fit and that we should stop trying. They laughed, so we ended up throwing the trash outside the hotel. The internet barely worked, which meant we had no connection for most of the stay. When I reported it, the desk told me to try marriottwifi.com. I tried several times and it was still down. They later said maintenance would come up, but nobody came and the problem was never fixed. When I asked to move rooms, they said the available rooms were in the same area and wouldn't improve the internet. Employees kept suggesting it was my devices, though the same issue happened on all three, two Apple devices and one Microsoft device. I could barely work. On the last day, they told me to call the internet provider so they could add my device manually. I waited on hold for minutes, and it still didn't fix things. The provider's employee said it was likely a room issue. Breakfast was stale and unpleasant: old bagels, lukewarm "hot water," a strong oil smell, and sludgy oatmeal. The tables were oily and dirty too. We also had to deal with rude service and no internet solution. I'm outraged by how badly this place is managed. I won't come back or recommend Marriott. You're better off at an Airbnb or another hotel. This is an embarrassment, and management should be ashamed.
