Trash was piling up outside my door under the stairwell, with no trash cans available. I couldn’t get anyone to collect it, and it was hard to get clean towels and toilet paper. Housekeeping was something I had to track down myself, but I leave early and they’re gone by the time I get back. I booked six days but wanted to leave on day four. Management said Choice Hotel policy meant no refund for the last two days. Choice membership told me refunds were up to the property or management. I don’t recommend this place.

I arrived late at night and saw lots of cockroaches in the breakfast area. In my room there were at least ten on the floor and a few on the bed, and hundreds outside. When I asked the front desk for a room without roaches, the clerk said the whole hotel was infested, so I had no choice but to walk out. I called headquarters about a refund and was told to expect it within 48 hours, but it never came. Do not stay here. It’s crazy that this place is listed as three stars.

At first things seemed okay, but we were accused of smoking in a non-smoking room and moved upstairs. The new room wasn’t up to standard. The refrigerator barely worked, and even after asking many times, every replacement they gave us was used and close to failing. It wouldn’t get cold or freeze things. The sink near the bathroom was broken, and the manager didn’t seem to care. All the manager wanted was for the cleaning staff to make the beds. They mop with dirty water, and if someone leaves a room a little dirty, they aren’t allowed back.

Some renovation was underway, and we could tell our room had recently been redone. It was very clean and smelled fresh, and the location was great. My only suggestion would be to add cable and WiFi.
