The room was clean and cozy, and breakfast felt generous for the price, with juice, coffee, cereal, toast, waffles, and fruit. Staff were friendly, and one housekeeper was especially sweet. I don't see many people, so I appreciated her taking time to chat while she worked. The area was peaceful and the other guests seemed nice. My concern was how the hotel handled my two cats. I'm homeless until the beginning of the year and take care of their litter box, even cleaning the bottom with vinegar. I use good litter, kept the box away from the door, cracked the window, and washed the floor with vinegar and water. Still, they said the room smelled bad all the way from the lower-level hallway to the office. The assistant manager said she was allergic to cats, so it was their word against mine. Be very careful about bringing pets, especially cats. Apart from that, it's not a bad place for what you pay.

Lucas & Ciel were so friendly and hospitable, the kind of people you want in hospitality. I was traveling with my parents, 75 and 85, and they made sure we got a first-floor room near the exit so they wouldn't have to walk far. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. For about $100 on a Friday evening, it was well worth it. I got the room a customer had complained about, and it was clean with no issues. They stayed polite with him even though he was making nothing but negative comments. If you want a $200 room, you have to pay $200.

We had a great stay in the two rooms we rented while waiting for our car to be repaired in Corbin. Liz was kind and very accommodating, and made my wife and me feel welcome. She also took extra care to tell us about local attractions and things to do. There’s beautiful mountain scenery nearby, plus a great steakhouse and buffet next door. We got good rest and would definitely stay at this Super 8 again.

The waffles were a favorite, and breakfast was good. Our room was clean and comfortable, bathroom included. It was much nicer than the first motel from the start of our trip. Thanks!

The sheets were clean, and the bed and pillow were comfortable, but the comforter had stains from an unknown source. The hotel as a whole needs remodeling.
