Towneplace Suites By Marriott North Little Rock

Those big windows were one of the first things I noticed. You can actually see outside, which I liked, and there are charging ports everywhere. The room was clean when we did our usual bedbug check, and it was more spacious than the deluxe hotel we booked at Disney. The beds are firm, and the breakfast was good. Downstairs there was a decent range of food and drinks, though the over-the-counter medicine selection was tiny. I didn't ask if they had more because the ground was covered in ice and I figured supplies might be an issue. There's a nook with little tables and chairs for small kids in the breakfast area. The hotel is near plenty of gas stations and fast food, and close to the Interstate without much noise. My 13-year-old did say the walls seemed thin, though there were volleyball tournament girls all over the hotel, so quiet was probably a challenge. We'd stay again.

The price for three nights was excellent, and the check-in was quick and easy. I picked this newer Townplace Suites because it had strong ratings on several review sites, and the stay lived up to that. My room was spacious and bright, with everything I needed for the weekend. The whole place was clean, the breakfast was plentiful, and I had no problems at all. The fitness centre was also tidy and had a good range of modern equipment, so I got in a nice workout. Shops, malls, restaurants, and highways are all nearby. A good option if you're in North Little Rock.

We came back for a second stay within the same month, and Kendall kindly lent us a pack n play for our baby. Both times the rooms were spotless and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Chenelle and Kendall checked us in, and both were welcoming and friendly. On Christmas Day, Chenelle was cheerful despite working the holiday. At breakfast, I asked a front desk employee whose name I can't recall for a wipe to clean a table that had just been used. She went to the cleaning closet and came back to wipe it herself, chatting with us in a friendly mood even though it was early and the holidays. I had also seen older reviews mentioning limited breakfast choices, but it seems they've updated and improved it. There are so many coffee toppings that even I, though I'm not a coffee drinker, was tempted. I recommend this place.

The part that really stood out was how helpful the staff were after we realized, hours into the drive, that we'd left something in the bed sheets. Kendal found it and worked with me to have it shipped back to my daughter. We were there for just one night during a two-day drive home from vacation, and the hotel was very clean, with lots of restaurants nearby and a really good breakfast. Thanks so much for taking care of that for us.
