Norwalk Inn & Suites

Four of us woke up unable to shower or use the bathroom after it flooded three times, and the only offer was a $20 discount, with no apology. There was water near the tub in our second room, then it spread across the floor after we found it coming from under the toilet. They fixed that leak, but when we returned around midnight there was water again, and the night staff said nothing could be done. By 8 a.m., water was dripping from the ceiling by the entry and bathroom, and urine and feces were coming out of the bathtub. The tub already had a blue stain partway up, and the ceiling showed obvious water damage, so it seemed this may have happened before. The first room had reeked of cigarettes despite being called smoke-free. The smoke alarms had been ripped out too, which is alarming if there's a fire. Charging $140 a night for this is unacceptable.

Roaches in the check-in lobby were enough for us to turn around without checking in. The front desk woman wouldn't help us cancel the room. Honestly, disgusting.

The bed was soft, but the room wasn't very clean. The tub wouldn't drain, and the towels were small.

Rooms are roomy and affordable, and there’s plenty of parking. The place is fairly quiet, with lots of shopping and dining close by. Target and Walmart are both under a mile away. It's on a busy street, though, so pulling in or out can feel a little unsafe. There are three entrances, so watch for those when driving in. Good value for the money.
