The location was the only real plus. We had no choice because of a sports tournament’s “stay and play” policy, and paid $178 a night for a room that normally goes for $70. There was nowhere to park when we returned from the tournament each night. Over our three-night stay, we saw roaches every day and killed about six; we could hear guests in neighboring rooms complaining about bugs too. The rooms weren’t clean: the carpet was sticky, the furniture hadn’t been wiped down, and there was a stale smell. Most employees were kind and helpful. At the regular rate, maybe the bugs and condition would have been easier to accept, but being required to stay at the inflated price made it worse. I wouldn’t come back.
